Mercado de Arte Contemporáneo Córdoba 2026 takes place from 24 to 27 September at Espacio UNMOL – Nave 8 in Córdoba, Argentina.
Known as MAC, the fair brings together galleries, artists, collectors, curators, cultural managers, publishers, institutions and independent initiatives from across Argentina and Latin America.
The 13th edition will present 57 selected galleries and projects. More than 100 proposals were submitted, making the 2026 application process the most competitive in the fair’s recent history.
Participants come from Córdoba, Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Tucumán, Chaco, Corrientes, Mendoza, Río Negro, Neuquén and Entre Ríos, together with a project from Chile.
Unlike many major commercial fairs, MAC is publicly supported and offers free admission. Its purpose is not limited to selling artworks. It also seeks to build professional networks, strengthen regional galleries and encourage new models for circulating and collecting contemporary art.
The 2026 edition is organised under the theme Sobre la vitalidad, or On Vitality. Curators Sofía Torres Kosiba and Manuel Coll propose art as a force capable of rebuilding social connections, circulating ideas and creating more sustainable forms of cultural exchange.
For ArtExpoWorld readers, MAC 2026 offers an opportunity to discover Argentine contemporary art beyond the dominant Buenos Aires market.
