Tomato Art Fest 2026 took place on 7–8 August in Five Points, East Nashville. The 23rd annual festival brought tomato-themed art together with live music, a parade and participatory activities. The main festival was free, while selected experiences required their own tickets.
The Tomato Art Show remained at the heart of the event: painting, sculpture, textiles and other works used tomatoes, fruit or vegetables as their subject. Art was displayed in a gallery setting and offered for sale, giving the festival a visual-art focus alongside its street celebrations.
The 2026 music programme included Friday performances by The Foxies and Girl Tones and a Saturday line-up featuring Moga Family Band. The Push, Pull & Wear Parade and playful contests extended the event beyond looking at art to making and joining in.

The appeal lay in the combination of accessible art and neighborhood participation. Visitors could compare imaginative responses to a shared subject, meet local makers and enjoy music without needing the background knowledge associated with a specialist gallery fair.
The main Tomato Art Fest on 7–8 August 2026 was free to attend. Selected events, including the Bloody Mary Garden Party, were separately ticketed. The art-show preview on 6 August was distinct from the two main festival days. This is an archived edition; past offers and schedules should not be used to book a future visit.
The festival occupied Five Points in East Nashville rather than a single exhibition building. Plan an arrival point outside the busiest streets and continue on foot. Before any future visit, check the organiser’s current map, road closures and transport guidance; a past festival route should not be treated as a current access plan.

The art show began at the former Art and Invention Gallery in 2003 and grew into a neighborhood festival. By 2026 Tomato Art Fest was presenting its 23rd annual edition, with Good Neighbor Festivals owning and managing the event.
Allow time for the art show as well as the outdoor stages and activities. In summer weather, carry water and sun protection and plan breaks. Ask artists about packing and collection if buying work, and check whether a special experience has separate ticketing before joining its queue.
